Walking through one of Charlotte’s most popular city parks, it felt like we were walking among the coveted cherry tree blossoms of Washington D.C.! Freedom Park was showing off for us during this recent spring engagement session as the trees were in full bloom. Spring had finally arrived and was showing it’s beautiful face (minus the pollen!) for Jordan and Ryanne.  

As fellow Tuba players in their high school marching band, Ryanne and Jordan met while sitting next to each other during their fourth period band class. Before Instagram and Twitter were popular, people (myself included!) used Myspace and AIM. Ryanne remembers, leaving comments or messaging Jordan until he replied. Pretty soon they were talking for hours at a time online. As an upperclassman, Jordan went out with Ryanne a few times before asking her to be his girlfriend in the middle of watching “The Bucket List.”
