Louisville, Kentucky

Shortly after relocating from Bowling Green, KY to Louisville, Todd met Ashley at church. She was a seminary graduate living with several other seminary girlfriends and getting ready to move overseas to be a missionary. He was living behind Churchill Downs where the annual Kentucky Derby is held and getting ready to go back to school.

My husband, Paul and I met Todd in college at Western Kentucky University. When we attended the same church, I pointed out Ashley’s gorgeous curly hair! After Paul and I moved to North Carolina we kept up with their relationship hoping he would propose.

After a rainy Sunday morning, I met up with Todd & Ashley at Cherokee Park in Louisville. If ever in Louisville, check this place out. Just don’t park illegally, as we almost got a ticket!! We ended our e-session at the stately Southern Theological Seminary from which Ashley graduated.
